2011 OWNER-BREEDER HANDLED AMATEUR FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION
AFC LOWER CREEK STELLA RN MH
Stella
Owned by Constance L. Kieckhefer

“Stella” has been a dog of a lifetime for me, a “natural” from the very beginning. I’ve been privileged to train and compete with several lovely Springers, including her mother “Bette,” but Stella has excelled with every challenge put to her.

Our competition highlight to-date is being awarded 2nd place in the 2008 National Amateur Championship. Since then we’ve continued to have fun at field trials, finishing her AFC Title in 2011, as well as obedience and rally, earning a RN title in 2011. In October of 2010, she whelped her first litter, with several of the puppies already placing in puppy stakes. She is the third generation of Lower Creek Springers and I look forward to continuing my adventures with her as well as her pups.

2011 OWNER-BREEDER HANDLED FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION
FC UPLAND’S TNT
Boom
Owned by Raymond P. Wunderlich

Boom is the dog I was searching for in my return to the game after a 6 year hiatus. I campaigned a dog in the 90’s named Upland’s Joliet Jake, whom I also bred and trained to his FC, AFC and High Point Amateur dog in the county.

My cousin called looking for a stud dog for his son’s father-in-law’s Gyp, and I asked him to use Banjo, a 9 year old male I gave him to hunt. But he wanted to breed to a titled Field trial competitor. I reminded him Banjo was out of Jake and I was having no luck finding his other offsprings. He agreed and did the breeding.

I took a little female, but she was not still quite what I wanted, so I bred her to a Rytex dog I got when I returned to the game. Boom was the first pup born (on my pillow) and he was a spitting image of my old Jake dog!!! Boom is a clone of jake; his natural talent, with his desire to please, is just as his great- grand father used to be.

His accomplishments are:

2011:
Hall of Fame Classic open 1st
Central Virginia Fall open 1st and FC completed
Susquehanna open 1st
Southern Tier open 1st
Western NY open 2nd

Central Ontario II open 4th

2012:

Hall of Fame Classic II open 1st and Guns Award
