Semen Collection &
Freezing Clinic Date: Wednesday, Nov. 10 (same day as hunting and working tests, Breeders' Showcase, Health Fair, DNA Bank blood draw) Time: All day. Individual appointments will be scheduled later. Location: Show building at the AgriCenter Vet: Ana Adams, DVM (Alpharetta, GA) Diplomate, American College of Theriogenologists Cost: $360. This discounted rate includes reproduction consult; brucellosis test (required); semen collection, evaluation, processing, and freezing; and 1 year's frozen semen storage. Notes: At least 5 dogs must participate; fewer than 5 will result in cancellation of the clinic. Other breeds are welcome to participate. $60 deposit required per dog. Deposit applies to the $360 cost and will be refunded if the clinic is cancelled. Owners / agents must bring original AKC registration certificate. Owners / agents should bring DNA certificate, if available. Deadline for registration: September 15, 2004. Make checks payable to CESSCGA*; contact me privately for my postal address. Owners who'd like additional collection(s) can arrange to visit Dr. Adams on their way to / from the National. *CESSCGA will NOT profit from this event; we're just trying to simplify bookkeeping. Eye
Clinic As part of the "Health Fair" at the National (Wed. Nov. 10), CESSCGA is hosting a CERF eye clinic with Charles Martin, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVO. Dr. Martin has checked our Springers' eyes in this area for many years. Cost will be $25 per dog. No preregistration is necessary.
